Virginia Lee Burton (Demitrios) was the leader.  She was also a fantastic children's book illustrator with classics like Mike Mulligans Steam Shovel.  

Reminds me of a Virginia Lee Burton / Folly cove designers print.  There is a lot to see, and its charming.
